All Fall Down

All Fall Down

All you have to do is ask. Imagine softness at play with color as you fall through the air with no safety net except ultimate trust. That’s what life is really like. Our souls speed through the atmosphere and land in our bodies. Then we commence a grand adventure. It has ups and downs and twists and turns like we may have never imagined. Everything that happens is a dive into the abyss of love. Our souls took a chance by coming here. Sometimes just acknowledging this truth gives our soul and our spirit a little breathing room. It gives us a chance to relax. Within the dream of human life, finding solace, comfort, and joy are the ingredients that set the stage to experience bliss. Feeling amazing depends on trust.

Like Spinning Plates

Trusting yourself is absolutely paramount. Trusting life is our challenge at times, but it is also our salvation. Life wants to steer us toward bliss. Life offers us chances to grow. Life is a web of interconnected realities, offering us a chance to experience living joy in different ways, times, and places. Life is a buffet of diversity. You can partake of it and experience bliss. Have you heard of the archetype of the Fool in tarot? The Fool dances forward on the path of life, sees a cliff, and dances right off it in total trust. Throughout the fall, the Fool experiences a diverse array of experiences, but in some traditions, the Fool is safe and embraced in the light of love in the end. Get out your journal now and write the story of the Fool for your life. You were born to your parents and stepped off the cliff into life. Write about your ups and downs, the joys, and the tough moments.

Ask Yourself Why

End the story with how the Fool is actually the wisest, most ancient being of light you could ever imagine. The Fool is embraced by the heart of love. The story is true, and it’s completely yours. Take the time as you write this to work through your life and stand in trust. You can experience bliss and feel amazing because you are the wisest fool who ever lived. Every peak and valley of your life has led you to deeper understanding and, ultimately, growing compassion. I am creative, blissful, and blessed! Every day you’re blessed with hundreds of beautiful and amazing moments. Today it’s your job to notice them. Really think about the gifts your life brings every day. Think of all the people you care about, the amazing experiences you’ve had, all the beauty and enjoyment you’ve experienced and seen. Flip back through your memory and rewitness some of the peak experiences in your life. Count your blessings. Having a positive view of your life will make your life more positive. Your perception is your reality, and how you choose to view your life is what makes it the way it is. You are the architect of your world and reality, and you can build it as you choose with your consciously chosen thoughts, words, and actions. It is time to do a fun, silly, and fresh craft. You’re going to be counting your blessings in a new way to help you view your life more positively. Balloons are seen as objects of childhood joy and fun, reminders of purity of the heart, and are our chosen shape. Gather up some colored pieces of construction paper. Choose your very favorite colors. Take some pieces of yarn and use scotch tape to affix them at the bottom of the ovals as the strings for your balloons. Next, decorate each balloon with one or more statements of the blessings in your life. For example, one balloon might be about your friends, and you could write my amazing friends on the balloon along with all their names. You could also add new friends soon to come. Once you have decorated all your balloons with words and phrases counting your blessings, arrange them into a bunch. It will be flat but still look like a cluster of balloons. Put your balloons somewhere you’ll see them every day, maybe in your bedroom. They will give you a chance to joyfully and beautifully count your blessings every single day. Acknowledging your blessings makes them proliferate. I embrace my experience and value my wisdom. A client of mine named June appeared to be a happy, confident woman in her early sixties. She shared a story with me about how after she and some of her friends turned fifty, they felt as if they became invisible. The sometimes flattering, sometimes annoying attention paid to women by men suddenly vanished. The change was debilitating. Was she valid anymore? Had she become totally invisible? She said some of her friends chased youth with Botox and facial peels and never let a carbohydrate pass their lips. She questioned if they were happier. She told me how she considered following suit and even tried Botox. Feel it begin to gently pulse.
